Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Crab Plate, Marked stock #L8J2crabPlat
$425
Broken shards of these crab plates have been found on the Island in Cebu in the Philippines, and are determined to be of the Zhangzhou type (formerly called Swatow wares). This lovely crab dish is from the Spanish porcelain trade that was exported from China to South East Asia. I am not absolutely certain of its exact age, but can guarantee that it is at least 150 years old. Measuring 6.75" in diameter, it is in perfect antique condition, no chips, hairlines or repair. |
