English porcelain Staffordshire quill holder featuring a confetti coleslaw nest with 3 spotted eggs, a bird, and a green snake. The inkwell has one hole for a quill and is in excellent condition. Any imperfections are firing flaws, typical of early Staffordshire pieces. Measures about is 2.5" high and 2.75" diameter. Circa 1840. |
