Near perfect pair of fuschia colored silk Chinese lotus shoes for bound feet. Each shoe is embroidered with delicate gold couching and a silk satin stitched butterfly. In excellent condition they have been packed and stored in a box for the past century. Color is vibrant having not been exposed to sunlight.

The exterior cloisonne ground is turquoise over copper with red, green, blue, black, white, and yellow enamels creating a rich an vibrant design. A very nice 19th C, Tongzhi era (1861-1875), porcelain dish showing a Qilin, a fabulous creature which appears in various forms and is associated with the wish for sons. In excellent condition, it measures 6.5 inches in diameter and about 1" high.

Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain snuff bottle featuring an elaborate hunting scene which includes animals such as wild boar, birds, deer, and a rabbit. Hunters are depicted on foot and riding horseback while shooting bows and arrows. In very good antique condition, no cracks, no hairlines. There are some minor abrasions or loss of glaze at around the rim which may have happened during firing. Height about 3 inches high.
Antique hand carved wood Chinese picture frame with a hand tinted photo of the Double Ring Longevity Pavilion. Also known as Shuanghuan Pavilion, the pavilion was moved in 1977 to the Temple of Heaven, Beijing. This is a photo of the pavilion in its original location near The Forbidden City. Chinese 4th Rank Court Official's silk badge of a wild goose. The background is black silk and is embroidered with very fine metal threads. The sun and its tendrils are silver foiled threads tacked down with red silk threads. The flowers are also silver but tacked down with green silk threads. The flowers appear to be white chrysanthemums, a symbol of nobility, elegance, and longevity. Each flower encompasses a display blue forbidden stitch knots to create the effect of pollen being dispersed...
A spectacular Chinese coconut wood carved crab box of the Guangxu period. Every detail is done to high excellence with the utmost attention to detail; even the the crabs with their markings are painted to realistic perfection. The basket appears woven but is itself carved. This is a rare and unusual treasure and is in perfect condition, measuring 4.5 inches high and 4.25 inches at widest point. Circa 1900
